Directions

Roll out pastry thin, about 6 inches in diameter.
Place 1 teaspoon of raspberry preserves in the center and spread slightly.
Fold the back part of the pastry over the preserves, keeping it back from the front edge by at least ¼ inch.
Wash the pastry with water or a mixture of egg and water.
Dust with powdered sugar and cut a few short slits across the top where the preserves are.
