A Delicate Apple Pie

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Make a rich syrup with white sugar and boil lemon peel to flavor it.

  2. Quarter the tart apples and add a few to the syrup at a time.

  3. Remove the apples as soon as they are tender and place them in pie plates.

  4. If the flavor is not strong enough, add more lemon.

  5. Top with a nice crust.
