Beef Essence
Ingredients
Directions
Prepare the beef
Trim all fat and gristle from the beef using a sharp knife.
Cut the beef into small pieces and place them in a jar.
Steam
Cover the jar and secure it with a piece of paper.
Fill a saucepan halfway with water and bring it to a boil.
Place the jar in the boiling water to steam for two hours, ensuring the water does not cover the jar.
Strain and season
After steaming, strain the liquid into a basin using a strainer.
Season the liquid with flavoring and coarse sea salt according to taste.
