Grilled Oysters

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash the oysters and place them in a colander to drain.

  2. Wipe them lightly with a cloth and put them on ice until ready to cook.

  3. Heat a griddle on high and lightly grease it with hot butter.

  4. Place the oysters close together on the griddle without crowding.

  5. As they brown, turn them with a spoon to avoid piercing and losing the liquor.

  6. Serve in a hot dish with a little butter.
