Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat some sweet lard in a clean frying pan until boiling hot.

  2. Break each egg into a saucer, then slip them into the hot lard without turning them over.

  3. Use an iron spoon to dip the hot lard over the eggs as they cook for about three minutes.

  4. Remove the eggs with an egg slice, trim off any discolored parts, and place them on a hot plate.

  5. Drain off excess grease and serve hot.
