Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Select fresh brussels sprouts.

  2. Remove the outer leaves and cut off any discolored ends.

  3. Boil in salted water for about 30 minutes, or until easily pierced with a fork.

  4. Prepare a hot white sauce.

  5. Pour the sauce over the cooked sprouts or serve 4 to 5 sprouts on individual dishes with sauce poured over.

  6. For quicker cooking, cover the pot; for a more delicate flavor, cook uncovered in plenty of water.
