Apple Salad

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Select medium-sized smooth apples and polish them.

  2. Cut off a thick slice at the stem end.

  3. Carefully dig out the inside of the apple without leaking the bottom.

  4. In a bowl, combine the dug-out portion of the apple with chopped celery and pecans.

  5. Chop the mixture into pieces about the size of navy beans.

  6. Add enough salad dressing to moisten the mixture.

  7. Pack the mixture into the apple shell.

  8. Replace the slice of apple on top.

  9. Set the apple on a salad plate and garnish with nasturtium or geranium leaves.
