Ingredients

Directions

  1. Slice the liver and soak it in cold saltwater for 30 minutes.

  2. Fry the bacon in a clean frying pan until clear and somewhat crisp. Keep it warm over boiling water.

  3. Wipe the liver dry, season with pepper and salt, and roll in flour.

  4. Fry the liver in the bacon fat until browned. Shake off excess grease.

  5. Arrange the liver on a hot platter and place the bacon around it. Optionally, fry sliced onion in the fat with the liver for added flavor.
