Unsupervised Recovery of Food Taxonomy from Volatile Compound Profiles: A UMAP Analysis of 450 Ingredients

Without supervision or human-coded labels, a UMAP projection of 7,464 volatile compounds across 450 ingredients reproduces conventional food categories — and surfaces cross-category molecular bridges that traditional culinary intuition misses.

A general and concise stereodivergent chiral pool approach toward trans-(4S,5R)- and cis-(4R,5R)-5-alkyl-4-methyl-γ-butyrolactones: Syntheses of (+)-trans- and (+)-cis-whisky and cognac lactones from d-(+)-mannitol.

A straightforward synthesis of (+)-trans-(4S,5R)- and (+)-cis-(4R,5R)-whisky lactones starting from d-(+)-mannitol has been reported here in fewer number of efficient steps compare... Read full abstract on PubMed →

Triazophos and its metabolite diethyl phosphate have different effects on endocrine hormones and gut health in rats.

Organophosphorus pesticide (OP) residues present in food can be metabolized into diethylphosphate (DEP) in vivo. Epidemiological studies of OPs have usually focused on these metabo... Read full abstract on PubMed →

All paper metadata — titles, authors, journals, years, DOIs — is public bibliographic information. Abstract snippets shown are truncated to fewer than 200 characters and link to the original source on PubMed or the publisher. We never reproduce full text.
