Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the light sponge, beaten eggs, sugar, and butter.

  2. Add enough flour to form a soft bread dough and let it rise until very light.

  3. Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar, butter, and cinnamon to create a filling.

  5. Spread the filling over the rolled dough, then roll it up like a jelly roll.

  6. Cut the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces with a sharp knife.

  7. Place the pieces on greased paper in a pan and let them rise until ready for baking.
