Vegetable Pie

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Prepare and chop the vegetables.

  2. Make a stew with the vegetables and good gravy; season well and add a little butter.

  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  4. Roll out the pie crust and place it over a dish, using a cup inside to prevent sinking.

  5. Fill the dish with the vegetable stew and cover with the pie crust.

  6. Bake until the crust is golden brown.
