Light Biscuit

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. After the dough has risen for the third time, pinch off a piece.

  2. Form the dough into small round biscuits.

  3. Place the biscuits in a greased pan, leaving space between them.

  4. Brush the tops with melted butter.

  5. Set the pan in a warm place to let the biscuits rise until very light.

  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.

  7. Turn out the biscuits and cover them to keep warm and soft.
