Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Knead the yeast bread dough from the sponge.

  2. Roll out the dough to ¾ inch thick.

  3. Place thin slices of butter on top of the dough.

  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon and then with sugar.

  5. Let the dough rise well.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C).
